Tha
Realest Death Row Days
Tha Realest
was first signed to Death Row Records under the alias Tenkamenin in 1996
after rapping in front of Tupac & Suge at a boxing match, but Tha
Realest was signed after Tupac died and never fulfilled his dream of rapping
with his hero. Tha Realest has left Tha Row and now has his own label but
still appears under artists in development on the roster so who knows if he
has fully left and maybe he has gone independent to prove to Tha Row he can
make it on his own so they can re-sign him one day. He has appeared on a few
Death Row compilations such as "Gang Related", "Chronic
2000" and "Too Gangsta For Radio". Tha Realest was meant to
have released an album on Tha Row entitled "Prodigal Son" but this
has never seen the light of day and most probably never will. He recorded
alot of unreleased songs at Tha Row but they will never be released because
they own all the rights to the songs. But maybes if Tha Realest's album on
his label "Witness Tha Realest" is a success Tha Row may release
it because we know what they are like with former artists material because
they just want to make money for themselves so who knows?
